So i just found the time to make a quick update...

Yesterday, after i finished my last customer, i just doodled this little thing... yeah a Swedish Rhino :D

I also got to sketch up a Yngwie Malmsteen design haha... that guy is absolutely brilliant.
Yngwie is by far one of the greatest guitarists ever.... and he's also a hell of a character :)

So here you have it... The King of sweden, The Master of the universe, the one and only... Yngwie J. Malmsteen!!!!!!

Copenhagen, Monkeys, 8-bit... & Dokken :)

Once again, it's been quite a while since i updated my blog...  But man, it's been hard to find the time to sit down and fiddle with my computer...

Things have been going great at Porky Royale... those guys are just awesome.

I feel so privileged to be  a part of that team.

They all make me feel very welcome at the shop, so everyday im looking forward to a new day at Porky's. :)

Im still so happy about moving to Stockholm.... i havn't had a single regret about moving here.

everything has so far gone beyond all expectations!

There's still alot of practical stuff that needs to be taken care of (personal numbers, bank stuff etc.) but im more less getting there now.

So i just got home from a week in Copenhagen... i was back at Stigma to work on a bunch of my danish customers.

I was booked up like crazy and i got to do some awesome projects.

(I got to contine on this 8-bit sleeve... so it's a work in progress)

Being back in CPH was a mixed feeling... i mean, it was great to see family, friends and customers...

but i didn't feel like i was enjoying being back in my hometown...

In alot of ways, that was nice because it just confirmed that i made the right decision about moving away. 

Maybe it was because i was in total "work-mode"... i barely did anything else than work and sleep haha.

The worst thing was that i missed my wife and son like crazy, so it's good to know that they will join me on my next visit to CPH in August, which also will include a vacation to Hungary :)

Today i had a great day with my little family... we spent the day in the sun ( except for the 3 hour nap i took with my son haha) and i got to buy a couple of excellent vinyls for my collection.

Tomorrow i'll be back at Porky Royale and i'll be taking walk-in's all week... so feel free to drop by and get yourself a epic tattoo :)

I just finished my week of guestspotting at Porky's, and we decided that since we got along so well, I might as well start working there.

So as things are right now, I'm very happy to announce that im gonna be a part of the Porky Royale Tattoo crew.

This is such a great place with the nicest people and a great atmosphere.

Also, the guys working here are amazing tattooers... so I will be learning a lot from looking over their shoulders.

Goodbye Copenhagen, Hello Stockholm... See you at Porky Royale :)

Wow... it's sure been a while since i had a chance to update my blog...
I finally moved to Upplands Väsby - Stockholm and im loving it...

I've been without internet access for several weeks now....
so i've only been checking out my e-mail and Facebook, when i've had the chance to find some wi-fi...

The last 3 weeks have been crazy with my birthday, Kiss Concert, moving, packing, unpacking, getting settled... but now everything is more or less in place.
I can feel how im starting to relax and breathe again, moving here was the best thing to do...
My wife and son are enjoying it so much and it's nice to be so close to the forrest and lake.

                                              Yeah... im gonna go fishing one of these days :)


I've really enjoyed walking around Stockholm, finding some old vinyls for my collection and

                                                      Hair metal.... best stuff ever!!!!


I finally made it to Porky Royale Tattoo, and wow, it's such a beautiful shop...
People here are so nice and i felt at home right away.
Im pretty bookede up...I have a bunch of cool tattoo's im gonna do this week, but i still have a few openings left, so let me know if you wanna get some ink.

Also on friday, I'll be doing walk-in's all day... so drop Porky Royale Tattoo :)

Hopefully, it won't take me another lifetime to update my blog....

Kiss, Gangsters & Sailors...

Wow, these last days have been intense!

We finally got all of our stuff shipped off to Stockholm...

The moving-truck came and thanks to a couple of good friends, we managed to load the truck in no time.

t's kinda wierd to look at that empty apartment... i've been living there since 2004, so there's alot of memories there.

But now it's time for a change and i can't wait to get started :)

Work wise, i got to do a bunch of cool stuff these past few days...

I got to do one of my KISS designs on my pal Anders... He's a drummer, so "The Cat" was the natural choice for him.

 I also had a chance to make a small Al Capone design for at possible tattoo...

Anyone up for it? :)

And last but not least, i got to finish my Sailor Jerry chest on Niklas today...

He took it like a champ!

What can i say... it's been a good few days...

KISS & Businesscards ...

The 11'th of June one of my favorite bands, KISS, is playing a show in Copenhagen.... i can't wait :)

Those guys are older than time, but they still put on, one hell of a show!

So the other day i was thinking to take a little break from my Reptilian project, and instead do a KISS tribute flash set.

Today i had the chance to draw them... i had a lot of fun making these designs, and i can't wait to tattoo them (two of them are already gone).

Yesterday i also got my new business cards... im very please with how they turned out.

I had a friend of mine put the design together, since he's a photoshop wizard... and i barely know how to turn on my computer hehe

Guestspot at Porky Royale Tattoo!

When i was at Inkfest Cph last week, I got to meet Peter who's the owner of this awesome tattoo studio in Stockholm, called Porky Royale Tattoo.
We had a nice chat and decided that i should do a guestspot at his shop.

Yoda, Sailor Jerry & Daft Punk...

Well, this is one of those nights i can't sleep... so might as well blog a bit :)

The move to Stockholm is getting very close, and we are currently living between towers of boxes...
I can't wait to live in a normal looking home again haha.

It's gonna be a big change not living in Copenhagen city, but for me, it's a change for the better.
Im gonna have way more time to try out different forms of art... and i'll also have way more time and energy to do guestspots and conventions.

So if anyone would like to have me do a guestspot at their shop, let me know :)


This week has been busy... and i've started a few big projects.

I started this Sailor Jerry chestpiece on my buddy Niklas.

I love to do these old school flashes...  they are so bad ass!!!

I also started this sleeve with two fantasy dragons... there will be added a text later on...
This chick took it like a champ and it was a very pleasant session.

Oh yeah... i got my new plugs the other day from http://www.omericaorganic.com .
I always order from these guys.... their products are beautiful and is such good quality.

And today i made small Yoda filler on my great customers Steffen... i LOVE Star Wars!!!!

And last but not least, i gotta say a thing...

The other day i got to hear the new Daft Punk album and im totally blown away by it!
This album is so well made, it's unbelievable...  Every song is such a treat and i've been playing it none stop for two days now haha

Normally im mostly in to rock/metal... but if music is well made, i don't care what style it it.

Gangzta Cows, Lizards & other great things...

Today i had a friend of mine come by to get a small filler tattoo.... what better than a Gangzta cow with a bling bling cow-bell :D

I also finished up a Reptilian Lizard design, that i will tattoo on my wife in a few weeks...

I can't wait to make this tattoo :)

This design will also end up on my new business cards....

To top it off, i went to the Copenhagen inkfest tattoo convention the other day, to talk to a tattoo-shop owner from Stockholm.... 

It went very well, and it seems like everything is beginning to fall into place.

I'll soon make an announcement about where i'll be working in Stockholm :)

Countdown to Stockholm...

Today i came back to Copenhagen, after a week in Stockholm.
My wife, son and I was there to take care of a whole lotta stuff, so we could get our new home ready.
It's wierd to think that we have less than a month left at our appartment in Cph...
It's been my home for almost 10 years.. So naturally there's alot of memories here.
But it's gonna be so nice to be in new sorroundings.
I absolutely love Stockholm and im looking forward to have the time to focus more on drawing and painting again...

And with my 7-10 working days in cph each month, i'll still be getting my doze of Denmark :-)

Im still working out the details of my new working place in Stockholm, it's getting closer...

Im gonna post some flash sheets very soon!

Conspiracy theories, tattoos & sandwiches

Wow, this week went by fast...
We sold our appartment and finally everything is beginning to fall into place.
All we need now, is to pack all our stuff into boxes... And we're off to Stockholm :-)

These past days, i've been reading alot about different conspiracy theories... And today i watched the documentary called "Sirius - the movie" and it had some really interesting stuff about goverment cover-up's and UFO's...
I also read some stuff about the recent Boston Bombers and i must say that theres a couple of things that i find strange... Though it's not enough to get me thinking about a major conspiracy... Yet ;-)
I love to watch/read about these things, but after a while i usually start going nuts instead haha.
The reality is that no matter how much you think you know or how much you belive in this or that, you'll NEVER get the truth...

So instead im gonna think about that epic turkey sandwich i had for lunch.... It had SO much meat in it.... I had a complete Homer moment, going "mmmmaaarrrhhhh" as i ate it :D

Oh yeah... I did a couple of fun tattoos yesterday...
The first one was a customized version of Disneys Esmeralde ( from the Hunchback of Notre Dame) and the other was this black & grey old school design...

Im gonna go play Skyrim now.... Cheeers :-)

Skæg the walrus!

The other day, i had to cancel one of my buddies due to my crazy back pains ... i moved his appointment for today and then we had a funny sunday session :)

The design is from this great children's book series, called "Rasmus Klump" and the character used for the tattoo is named "Skæg" and he is a walrus sailor haha...

A sunny sunday with tattoos, Rasmus Klump, some Rock N Roll and alot of coffee... gotta love it :)

By the way... if you like balls to the walls, ass-kicking Rock N Roll... i would advise you to check out my friends band "L.A. Collection".... it's AWESOME!!!!

The Little Mermaid & Superman

Wow, this past week has been CRAZY...
My wife and I, put our apartment for sale last monday, and the amount of phone calls, email's and text's i've been getting has been insane... but we found a buyer and now we're almost ready for Stockholm.

I also messed up my back again, so i've been on these crazy painkillers for a few days...  they're pretty strong, but at least they are helping... im almost back in shape again :)

With all this stuff going on this week, it's been hard to find time and energy for a whole lot of things...

My biggest highlight this week, was seeing the new trailer for the "Man Of Steel" movie...
I gotta say... this movie looks absolutely amazing!!!!
Finally a Superman movie with a bit of edge...
I can't wait to see it!

Also today i got to do a cool tattoo....
I drew this design a while back and it was supposed to be used for a t-shirt design... but that project got delayed again and again.... and I just never got around to do it.
so one of my customers loved the design and wanted it as a tattoo .... and that was just awesome for me :)
It's my take on "The Little Mermaid" statue from Copenhagen.

Next week I've got some cool projects im gonna start, so stay tuned :)

Superman & Reptilians

I've been reading these new Superman comics from DC, called "Superman Earth One"...

Usually im not a big fan of Superman, he's way too nice... too much of a boy scout :D

But this new series is REALLY good...

Basically, they've gone back to the start of the saga, so new readers don't need to go back and read the first comics ever made abut Superman.

You get the entire background story, and then they put more focus on Clark Kent's teenage years.

The writers have stayed true to the original story, but have put their own spin on it... and it makes an awesome comic book.

Last but not least... the artwork is stunning...

Now it's gonna be great REALLY to watch the "Man of Steel" movie this summer :)

Today i also got to tattoo one of my Reptilian designs... it was really fun and im hoping that i'll get to make more of them :) 

Hellboy & carrotcake!

Im a huge fan of comic books... Especially Spawn.
I love the Greg Capullo era, his artwork is some of my all time favorite...
I was stoked when i found out the other day, that he had started drawing for DC Comics, on a new Batman series called "the city of owls"... Check it out, it's awesome!!!

Anyway... Being a comic book fan, I was stoked to get started on a Hellboy sleeve.

The art of Mike Mignola is a bit out of my element since its SO stylistic...
But i was up for the task, and had a great time working on this project... And i can't wait to continue it!

To top of a great day, my wife surprised me with a home baked carrot cake, all for me!!! :-)

Four eyed mutant gorilla and Justin bieber...

Today i had a great customer...
We had been talking about some random ideas for his entire chest/stomach, and ended up going for at giant mutant gorilla head :D
The guy was awesome... He didnt make a single noise through the entire session... I was really impressed.

I also got the chance to continue on my little flash project...
Yeah, i knew there was something rottem about Justin Bieber ;-)

Oblivion

I went to the theater tonight, to see the new Tom Cruise sci-fi movie, Oblivion.

I didnt know what to expect, since im not a huge Tom Cruise fan...
But the movie is made by the same people who was behind "Tron Legacy"... A movie i absolutely loved.
So with that in mind, i was sure to see some awesome scenography and some cool designs.

The movie was "ok"...
I felt the story was a bit weak, and it took some time before it really took off.

But as i hoped for, the visuals was stunning and the soundtrack was really cool...

All in all, not a bad movie... But not a masterpiece either.


Oh yeah... I almost forgot...

I had a bit of time today, to make another "reptilian" sketch... More to come :-)

Reptilian shapeshifters....

I've been tripping about this awesome conspiracy theory going on, that these lizard shapeshifting creatures are living among us... According to the "experts", these beings are running the world, shapeshifting into different high powered world leaders and so on...

Theres a ton of "proof" online... Just try to type in "reptilian shapeshifter" on youtube... It's great!!!

Well... Lizard people or not... Today i thought it would make for a great flash sheet... So i found a little time between customers, and made the first design...

I have some great ideas for the other designs, so stay tuned!!! :-)
